Remembrance Day-

Recommended Posts

We went to a lovely Remembrance service this afternoon, and the boys marched with Cubs and Beavers (Alis Girls, I also had a Cub flag bearer - yes, very proud!). The service was taken by the newest minister in the village and halfway through a lady at the back fainted, the paramedics were called and the poor guy had to carry on with his sermon (the lady was fine by the way). Bit of a baptism of fire for him though!

We had a special day yesterday with some members of the Smart Car club at Beaulieu. We have gone there for the last 9 years (with a reduced admission fee) or so and this year had decided against it - until Beaulieu stepped in and decided to host it themselves! They even had one of our little cars on display inside the museum all day (one of the members has a car covered in poppies) and invited us to do the two minute silence inside the museum rather than out in the car park like we usually do.

Thanks Beaulieu, we'll be back next year!
