Cheeky Chooky
I've hung 2 of these 'treat blocks' in the run and the girls just love them...a little too much though as I've not seen them touch their layers pellets but they're always at the blocks! I've been scattering the layers pellets on the floor of the run and they do seem to be being eaten but they don't go to the grub to eat at all Do you think I should I remove the treats for a few days? lindafw
I think I would whip them out...give them at weekends or if you are home early an hour or two before bedtime
Cheeky Chooky
Thanks...I've taken them out and replaced them with some spring greens that I've put in a 'fat ball' bird feeder...at least the greens are better for them!

Luvachicken
Where did you get such an intersting sounding treat from ? The ones I've bought only have corn and grit in.

WitchHazel
I have to ration these as my Girls manage to demolish one of them in a day. I think it's the insects that do it because they don't get through the normal chicken licken block quite so quickly,

Cheeky Chooky
Lucky girls I gave the girls a few dried mealworms today, probably the first they've ever tried and they took them from my open hand so gently, bless em Eddie our Border Terrier sat patiently next to me, looking longingly at the bag of mealworms so he had one...or two He thought they were yummy too!
