Couperman
I agree, He is a legend isn't he. He doesn't look much different from when I was a sprog. He must be 115 and still looks great. Just been watching him on Parky who is also wearing extremely well. Did you see the Life of Birds clip with the talented impersonator bird? I am going to train the chooks to do that! Guest
The man is a legend - listening to his voice takes me right back to my childhood, and us all sitting round the tv watching 'Life On Earth'. Fantastic stuff!

sparkleeeeee
i really wanted to see him when he visited norwich a few years ago, i arrived with my newborn i tow an hour early to que up and the line had already been closed and not everybody get to see him who was in the que, i was gutted but the week earlier i had got to meet alan titchmarsh who was really lovely and signed a book for my little boy 'one day all this will be yours'. which i keep for him in his baby box. David is certainly the only person i would really like to meet, the only thing is, i would have so many questions that he would have to stay for the week. he has certainly had an amazing life and has made such a great contribution to society. the kids in my tutor group often had clips of life on earth, they used to love it and my toddler are facinated by any of his programmes. Couperwife
I could listen to ALan Titchmarch for hours as well. I read his books and he writes as he speaks. you can hear him telling you the story in your head (or am I just weird and need locking away? )
kannie
I admire him but can't watch him because I find his voice so soporific I just nod off! Shame really - OH loves his programmes and I probably would too if I could keep my eyes open!
Mrs Frugal
Christine! I'm just the same!! I love his programmes but his voice always lulls me off to sleep and I wake up as the title music's playing!
Sue1411
On a recent girls night out, David was voted our number 1 inappropriate crush. We love him.
