Chicken Kitty
Lavender and Daisy had their first free range today....and I'm happy to say it went well! It was the first time the big girls had seen the newbies....and their faces were a picture!! "Who are they and where did they come from!?".... Pretty little Daisy..... 'I'm-so-speedy-it's-hard-to-get-me-in-focus' Lovely Lavender...... My hubby said we should have called her 'Road Runner'

Plum
I think there's some feather envy there from Clover, and fancy letting them on their grass
tracyann
Ah it all takes time, if they aren't living together already, that's the best way is to let them see each other, I integrated 5 new girls to 6 original girls with no problems that way, just by letting them see each other, and Frank the cockerel was introduced to them without any hitches. Chicken Kitty
Thank you!!! I had both groups free ranging separately again today.....They all seem very interested in each other, but there has been no grumpy behaviour, so i am hopeful for when we mix them together in the future. My 3 grown up girls are soooo nice natured and the new little girls took treats from my hand today (the lure of mealworms is too hard to resist!! ) .......so another lovely chickeny day here! memphisto
What a lovely flock you have, I love the first picture it's as if the girls in the Go are saying 'What??, Who???, where??, where on earth did they appear from, haven't seen them round these parts before!' I can fully understand why you needed Lavender, she is a real stunner, better not let any boys see her....she'd break their hearts!
