Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

I've been told, once again, that my house feels like how people imagine the Burrow would feel. I love the Burrow and am quite pleased. I know it's described as cluttered and although I keep my house clean and tidy I have to admit to a certain amount of clutter. I wish I had one of those clocks which tell you where everyone is. It's not me, I'm useless with people, it's the house, we felt it when we first viewed it and is reason I insisted on buying it. It's 'held together by magic'.

You haven't got a ghoul in the attic, I hope? Or gnomes in the garden?

Oh yes! I forgot to mention the ghoul and gnomes. Pesky things. Could do without them to be honest.

I think you are being too modest though..the house is only part of it, it's the people in it that make it a home!

Aww that's a real compliment. I appreciate clutter. I think that's what makes a home homely & welcoming. I hate the minimalist look. Yuk!

You're such a lovely person & I'm sure anyone would love to come for a cuppa at yours if it's like the Burrow.

Bit like mine then it's all clean, but with the building work more or less constant, it's always full of stuff which really belongs elsewhere. I'm normally quite tidy, so this really irritates me.

 

With the schools off yesterday, Rosie had friends round and they decided to make pizzas... you can imagine the mess in the kitchen when I got home
