jackian Posted December 8, 2011 Share Posted December 8, 2011 Further to my earlier posting a couple of days ago ...Poor Florry was PTS this afternoon. She had been poorly for a few days after laying a strange egg on Monday.I thought she had picked up but this morning she would not come out of the coup and was very subdued.I decided to leave her there knowing she was safe and go to work for a couple of hours knowing that by lunchtime a decision would have to be made if she was the same by the time I came home. Poor Florry was just the same.I decided on the vet , I had never been to a vet ever before..He was just wonderful .You would have thought he was dealing with the most precious thing . She had he thought Oviductitus and said he could treat her but she only had a slim chance of pulling through. A decision was made. I had Florry from Omlet just 6 months ago and she was top chick She laid every day the largest of eggs until this week and she FR when ever she could.She lived life in the fast lane and the other girls followed .My OH said she was his "Chav chick" as common as muck with her feathered knickers always in the air.
