Bramble
How about a pay-as-you-go dongle? I think all of the mobile networks offer them it's just a case of who is offering the best deal at the moment ... I got one with T-mobile about a year ago, that was the best deal then, but have a google and see what you can find, seems to work for me for when I'm at my Mum's (wouldn't want to rely on it for home though!) ClaireG
Sounds like you need a pay as you go mobile dongle. We got one when we moved here as knew we would be without internet from some time. The one we got was the top T mobile one on this link. http://www.broadbandgenie.co.uk/mobilebroadband/pay-as-you-go
The Dogmother
Do ipads actually take dongles? I'm not sure that they have a USB port
Bramble
Dunno!!!! But if they don't then I reckon a USB adaptor kit would be available, that should cover it!
Tweety
No, iPads don't take dongles. Have a look at the Orange website for their Orange mobile wifi device, it is brilliant - I would do a link to it but don't know how to, sorry! Geoid
Dunno!!!! But if they don't then I reckon a USB adaptor kit would be available, that should cover it! Nope, iPads etc are quite locked down, so you cant install the software needed for the dongle to work. OP - what model phone do you have? mollyripkim
There is something called myfi which is a small device that gives you mobile wifi broadband. Apparently you can even connect several devices at a time but sorry not sure where you would get it from.
