CatieB
I'm hoping for swift replies as I've bought Lamb Shanks and would like to put them on in the morning. Thanks Ideally I fancy something with a mint gravy type sauce but am very open to suggestions.

CatieB
Thank you. in my slow cooker today I have a tweaked version of the terminally confused recipe. I didn't add pasata or worcester sauce.
LolaLayla
I am trying the Burgundy Lamb Shanks today. I will let you know how it turns out
Olly
There's this one on Cherry Menlove's blog - it's cooked in the oven but I don't see why it wouldn't work just as well in a slow cooker.
LolaLayla
The recipe turned out well however I should have thickened the gravy and would do so next time.
The Dogmother
Yes, you have to allow that a slow cooker doesn't let the juice evaporate and thicken/reduce as it would in an oven or on the hob. Phil brought me back some free recipe handouts from The Telegraph, they feature Heston recipes, while I don't normally pay him much attention, I am sure there was a delicious sounding lamb shank recipe in there, try doing a web search.
