lillybettybabs
I board friends dogs (not a a business) when they go away mainly to help friends out who worry about their dogs being in a busy kennel environment and also to help me get used to handling other dogs and to study there gait. Now they all say that their dogs enjoy coming here but i always think that they are just being polite. Well my friend dropped her two doggies off this morning and i had to smile. She opened the boot of the car and said "stay". The lab leaped out of the car and ran to our side gate, pushed the gate open and darted to the kennels going into the spare kennel( where he always stays) sat on the bed wagging his tail. One happy customer and i'm a little proud too!
Lavenders_Blue
What a lovely story! Do tell us what happens when his owners come to take him home again - will he dig his claws in and refuse to be taken home I wonder?!

lillybettybabs
I think they deserve a holiday too whilst mum and dad are enjoying themselves. I'm attempting recall today with him - I keep a stash of chopped up left-over bits of roast beef in the freezer for this sort of occasion. lillybettybabs
I dropped them off around 7.30 ish on Saturday as their mum and dad were not back until late. I couldn't get Digby to stay in the kitchen he sat by the door wanting to come back with me. Their mum sent me a lovely text and has booked them in for a week in March. I missed Digby cuddles Sunday morning.
