Will they be happy in here?

Recommended Posts

Before my disaster happened last week when we lost two pekins to my dogs I had already ordered a new coop/run and it arrived today. After the shock of last week I was prepared to re-home my two remaining girls but my Nan wants to keep them so my question is, will they be happy to be in here for 99% of the time? They have been free-ranging before but I'm abit concerned now about them being out all of the time incase the dogs do get by when I'm not there, so if they are in the run I know they are safe from them.

That looks great. If you wanted to, you could enrich it a bit with some perches, ladders etc so they have different levels (see photos of Ain't "Ooops, word censored!"ody Here's WIR to see what I mean - I love that run!). Chooks like getting up high sometimes :D But I'd say it's fine for space for 2 ladies.

Thanks :D Was going to see if I could put anything more 'interesting' in there for them to do, perches sounds like a great idea, will see what I can do :D
