westie mum
I had a Go when I had my first chickens and I thought it was great, easy to collect the eggs and simple to keep clean.I upgraded to a cube as morehens struck and I still have my Go in the garage just in case I have more chooks . Can't say how it compares to a classic though as I haven't seen one of those.

jackiek
I had a Go but it arrived with chipped parts as well as missing parts. After many attempts by Clare to remedy the situation, I returned the entire thing. It was badly manufactured and very flimsy. I ordered a Cube later and the quality is just way, way better. The plastic is thick and does not look like it would crack with the slightest of touch. In short, I would not recommend it. I tried to get a Classic, but it is no longer sold here in the USA. Adelochick
Hi there, I have an Eglu Go and am very pleased with it for my pekin bantams. It is on a raised veg plot at present, so making it easier to clean out/collect eggs/give them a cuddle, as the large door opening is at the end. I wouldn't want to use it at ground level though as I feel that this would make it very difficult (getting less agile with old age!). The pekin bantams aren't keen on the slatted floor, so following advice from other omleteers, I just use the base floor with auboise on. I even bought the 'extreme weather liners' for it which fit inside the actual housing walls/roof, were very useful when it was much colder, and have only recently removed them for washing to be stored for next winter. Although I have no personal experience of a Classic, I have read that it is very heavy to remove the top off one. Anyway good luck in your search/purchase of the henhouse to suit your needs. One_Box
I have had both, IMO the Go is far superior. It is a later design and a lot of lessons have been learnt since the Classic. If you decide to buy the 2m run, get two doors (the kind people at Omlet provided an extra one at no charge to me) especially if you are planning a permanent run base. One door can be placed adjacent to the Go so that the first section of the run and the front of the Go can be cleaned easily. The other can be placed at the end of the run in the usual position to give easy access to the front of the run. i'm sure if you choose a Go you will not be disappointed.
