2009 Omlet cube and run for sale

I went up the garden yesterday to feed the girls and, to my delight, I was greeted by Priscilla's FIRST EVER ! Oh it was perfect and sat so nicely in a little clutch with the other two

 

In my excitment, I grabbed the 3 eggs and ran back down the garden to show my OH... forgetting that I was wearing my flip flops , I half lost one whilst launching myself up the back door steps, caught it on the bottom step , and having far too much forward movement for what I'm used to, the rest of me headed downwards whilst I planted my head into the door handle and then my face into the windowsill, BREAKING Priscilla's egg!!!!!

 

As you can imagine, I'm truely gutted about Priscilla's egg... not to mention my now purple eye, however the dog was quite chuffed at being asked to clear up

I dropped sweetie pies first blue egg oh the dissapointment but the shell stayed intact if dented..so we still ate it

d'oh! Well, at least you managed to see it briefly - one of the girls didn't eat it first!

I dropped a whole tray of eggs on the living room floor the other day and the cat and the dog had a field day

I fell down a dust bath hole, with a galvanized feeder in my hand... Nice few hours in A&E, just off stitches!!

I hope you don't suffer too badly with the bruising - don't forget to use some arnica.

Flip Flops are Egg-stremely dangerous!!!!! Sorry - couldn't resist it. Hope you are on the mend though.
