AJuff
www.diamondchoir.co.uk Anyone elses budding singer auditioning on Saturday? My DS has got an interview which lands in the middle of his football weekend away! Typical! I am now taking him along and then a 3 1/2 hr drive to take him to football and a 3 1/2 hr drive back with my two girls in tow! Now for the hard part . . . he has to learn the two songs he has been given . . . as he's horizontal and said he'll sight read them on the day . . . I have arranged two singing lessons for him today and tomorrow! Edited April 12, 2012 by Guest

AJuff
OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG A letter arrived from St Paul's Cathedral today to say my son has been offered a place in the Diamond Jubilee Choir!!! I am so proud of DS. Proud mum moment. Thousands applied, 400 auditioned and 40 were offered places. He has done so well I am delighted. Travel expenses and hotel paid for in London for three days. Needless to say DS is still laid back horizontal, takes it all in his stride and can't see what al the fuss is about. (Can't imagine what he'llbe like at GCSE time!!!).
