LolaCola
During the last few sweltering hit evenings, we have been leaving back door open and often come down to find a chicken or too on the sofa But one evening, I left my DD (12) down stairs whilst I put other dc to bed, with the back door open. All of a sudden Tabitha ran up the stairs holding her cat sky, screaming. In a panic, it looked like she had been very badly wounded at the neck, I was shaking, thinking of all the things could have happened (our cats are indoor cats, our chickens are outdoor chickens, but they don't always adhere to this ) I was terrified her and a chicken had had a ruck! So, got Tabitha to bring her to the bathroom, grabed a towel to stem the bleeding, only to find it was bright red lipstick! It turned out my 17mnth old had been down her make up bag a proceeded to give sky a make over! Note to self - nerver leave toddlers alone full stop!
