mimi5
Oh that's nice!! Let's hope you get some girl friends for tumble!! Please keep us posted!!! I gave a friend of mine 6 of my pekin eggs, they all hatched last weekend!!!!! Cheryl says my eggs are "super eggs", she's never had 100% hatch before I had 4 of mine hatch (100% again) but 3 out of 4 were beautiful boys!!! I re-homed them...phew!! So going along in a couple of weeks to see if I can sex the little bunch.......everything crossed for girls!!!! Do you think these eggs will hatch early like tumble???? Happy hatching!! Purplemaniacs
Well we have candled them.... All three silkies show signs of life veins and movement Sadly only one of the Dutch bantams was fertile. Chrissie
LolaCola
That's a shame that only one Dutch Bantam was fertile, but hope that one hatches for you. At least Tumble looks like he's gonna have some friends

Purplemaniacs
I am trying to get to grips with putting photos on here so hopefully here are our new hatchlings. So pleased all four eggs hatched, two eggs weren't fertile. This is Tumbelina, hopefully a girlfriend for Tumble This is Noir This is Elvis, do you think the puffy hair do means anything, girl or boy? And last but not least the tiny Dutch bantam Bumble, the other three are Mini Silkies Chrissie
Redwing
Smashing! Its too early to be able to sex the Silkies regardless of what their hairdo looks like I am afraid The Dutch is almost certainly a girlie though

Purplemaniacs
Thamk you They are really sweet and Bumble is so tiny LolaCola I hope you have success this time, this is my third hatch and the first time that all the fertile eggs hatched it was lovely to turn the incy off because it was empty, previously I keft it on for a few days just in case there was a late developer Chrissie
Chortle Chook
I loved this hatching diary The pictures are gorgeous and the chicks just so sweet and fluffy. What wonderful names you are giving them all! Do please keep the diary going (you have not been talking to yourself at all) and let us all know how the wee chickens progress. I want to see them at their first communion, and their double digit birthday, when they launch into their teens and at their 21st BDay (guess that would need to be in days rather than years )
