One of my cats does a "head push" on demand - that is he bunts your head with his. The other if you say "nose" to her touches your nose with hers eskimo style. very cute. wondered how your pets show you how much they love you.

My house rabbit is affectionate, although not as much as a dog. When I groom him he will lick my hand and will jump up on the sofa or bed (I don't let him on the bed though) to have his ears and cheeks stroked and will crawl onto my lap occasionally.

My girl cat will head push every morning - this means Hello...wake up....stroke me....now

 

She will also do the nose thing but I haven't tried to train her to respond to do it on command....better wait till I'm on my own till I try that:lol: I think they are mirroring how they would greet another friendly cat, my two certainly sniff noses.

 

Her real idea of pleasure is to walk up the garden with me and sit on/near me whilst I read or work, she follows me everywhere. She is missing a tooth so when she purrs a lot she dribbles She loves to be outside with a human.

 

My boy cat will stand on his hind legs on a low coffee table and reach up and grab me round the waist with his front paws - I give him a stroke and if I pick him up he will curl into my neck. He is a real softie. I love it when he decides to purr - he is a very quiet and quite timid cat, so I know he is feeling relaxed and happy when he purrs.

My Bertie is a head butter too. He's quite rough at times though! If I'm not up early enough for him in the morning, he'll jump on the bed and starting at my head, will do a sort of levering head but, all the way down to my toes, as though he's trying to prise me out If that doesn't work, he pokes his nose up my nostrils and then final resort is a cheek bite!! It's never food that he wants, he just needs a fuss

 

Pussy Willow is much more refined... she does air kisses, side to side for as long as you're willing to join in

 

Small dog Tinker is a real softie and would wash me to death if I let him. He likes pulling my socks off to get to my feet. I've got very ticklish feet though

I get 'deaders' from both cats, and live ones too. Biscuit (cat) shows his love my mouthing my hand, the other cat is a bit autistic and doesn't really do emotions. Both the dogs grin at me and Cyrus puts his forelegs on my shoulders and gives a hug. Ruby rubs against you like a cat.
