clucker1
My girlies, well some of them are on the moult at the moment. I am presently giving them poultry spice to help them through it. Anything else, that can help? I think tuna helps, how much would I give 7 chickens? Any other tips?
coco
I use Nettex Total Moulting Solutions in the water and find that this seems to help.
Plum
I give mine Lifeguard, it has all the trace minerals and vitamins.
suebee
I'm a Lifeguard user too. Mine also get a small handful of mealworms mixed into a mash about every other day.
Tweety
Lifeguard here too, though none of mine has had a particularly heavy moult this year. If they did, I might try Nettex Total Moulting Solutions.
The Dogmother
I've used both of the above with good results.
chuckmum6
I have in the chickens minds 'poisoned' the water with a touch of cider vinegar in one and tonic in the other glug, the pellets are lightly coated with cod liver oil which they like. They are pretty much looking like prickly hedgehogs, but all seem ok.
The Dogmother
Mine have all feathered up pretty quickly this year, no real problems at all and the last one is nearly finished now.
