While MS was having a horrible time, longterm unemployed, he had a little money from a handyman type job and bought me a little present. A bracelet made of a skull on a leather strap. It was very precious to me though not very pretty. I put it on and decided I wouldn't take it off until he had a job. His luck changed and he is employed and happy but I can't bring myself to take it off, I'm almost scared to. I've told myself that if it breaks and I lose it that doesn't count. Don't feel that you should take it off, but then again if you want to take it off,then do If you have a little bag for it,maybe keep it in your handbag,so its with you a lot of the time? Was made of plastic string stuff and it eventually broke and was unwearable after that. Although I've still got it I do feel I've lost something or perhaps I'm trying to recapture the innocence of his childhood, those days seem so long gone now. I still hold it, wistfully.
