Omlet cube and run

On Good Friday a fox ran through our garden followed by a sweet little fox cub. He couldn't keep up and certainly couldn't climb the fence. He sat by my swing seat and then disappeared.

I know I shouldn't like foxes but he is rather a sweetie.

I must admit, I did fell like the parent fox was kind of showing the cub where to get some nice lunch.

Fortunately foxy can't get in at all.

Gorgeous. I still haven't seen any which is very unusual. I knew we had foxes before I got the chickens so I don't blame them for doing what comes naturally. That was my decision not theirs.

F0xes are very sweet when they are little, shame they have to grow up. We had three cubs in the field behind us a few years ago, they were playing chase the crow, they looked very bewildered when the crow flew off. It was lovely to see them, have never seen a fox since but I know they are there.
