It has been hailing here on and off today

 

Three of my four girls have very sensibly taken cover and stayed dry until it passed over. My oldest hen Bella (who I can only assume is going senile in her old age) has been dashing about in the run eating the little hailstones

Araucanas seem to be congenitally stupid and mine always stand out in the rain and have to be herded and shut in the run when the weather is bad.

Mine have been eating hailstones AND blossom petals falling off the large cherry tree next door. They must think it's manna from heaven!
