kittyl
My chicks are 6 weeks old now, this time I have let them free range with their mum's & my other chickens most of the time. One of my hens has got visible wormy poops & I want to flub them all. I feel the chicks are at risk of having worms too, would it be ok to worm them too at this age? Chicken deficient
I cannot find any information on the data sheet for Flubenvet regarding the advised minimum age. I think it would be best to contact the manufacturer and check what they recommend. (Flubendazole is similar to the fenbendazole in Panacur, which can be used to worm puppies from 2 weeks of age.) sjp
it's about 11 weeks old before chicks can be wormed with Flubenvet
kittyl
Thanks for replies. I've decided to worm the big chooks individually this time rather than dosing the feed & I'll do the chicks when they're a bit older (unless I see signs)
