chickencam
He was masterful last night Been a strange Wimbledon so far, this is always my favourite 2 weeks of the year. Laura did really well yesterday too
sparkysmum
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, only 2 more wins to go. Although hearing he lost 4 games in a row made my heart sink Come on Andy Ax
Groovychook
Good to see he got through fairly easily even though he wasn't playing his best tennis! Think Djokovic looks pretty unbeatable at the moment though... Shame about Laura- she seemed a bit overwhelmed by it all. She so talented though and such a lovely girl too. Daphne
The other big match yesterday - Williams/Lisicki - was fabulous though. Excellent tennis and really entertaining
chickencam
Looking forward to tomorrow's matches, hope that Andy isn't on too late because we are moving ED into her new flat in the evening, and for once I have a day off when there is good tennis and a massive ironing pile to attack. sparkysmum
There have been so many surprises this year, so cant rule anything out but hopefully Andy will do it tomorrow Was so thrilled for Sabine Lisicki, winning against Williams, what a totally lovely player she seems to be. Come on Andy Edited to change saltire Edited July 3, 2013 by Guest
chickencam
Apparently she is allergic to grass, not sure if that means hayfever or something else I would like Lisicki to win the ladies competition now.
sparkysmum
totally agree, she is a breath of fresh air, happy and unaffected
bluekarin
Apparently she is allergic to grass, not sure if that means hayfever or something else I would like Lisicki to win the ladies competition now. I have wanted her to win the past few years I have seen her play. I love how happy she is when meeting people and seems such an open, genuine person. I really did think her Wimbledon was over when I saw she was up against Williams so am very pleased she won that game. It is an exciting final this year, with no real idea who is going to win

sparkysmum
Just heard that Janowic is referred to as the Poleveriser He has a 150mph serve from a height of 6'8" Look out Andy. Above is a pic of him on a post Olympic walkabout in the High St.
bluekarin
The game on at the mo is really good - Djokovic v Del Potro. Really feel for them playing for over 4 hours in this heat.
Olly
I only turned on to see how Murray was getting on, assuming the first match would be over - what a match! I doubt the final will be as exciting as that.
Groovychook
What an amazing match- one of the all time greats! Love Del Potro- such a gutsy player. Lets hope Andy gets through his match and Djokovic is a little tired after all his exertions!
Olly
Phew! Another cracking match - well done to Jerzy Janowicz, but Murray was brilliant.
sparkysmum
What a match Sparkysdad and I have been celebrating in advance but what a final it promises to be Andy is the world No2, the US Open champion, the Olympic champion and fingers crossed on Sunday will be Wimbledon champion too Come on Andy
chickencam
What a men's semi finals day The first match was fantastic, neither deserved to lose and was played with such a lovely sporting spirit. Andy had me worried for a bit, but all set for an amazing weekend of sport.
Daphne
We were glued to the first Men's semi, it was an outstanding match wasn't it Unfortunately we had to go out and would have missed the final set but luckily it was on in the pub. Then we went out to dinner and used the moby to keep up with Andy, before rushing home to see the 4th set. I will miss the Ladies Final today - but I would like Lisicki to win, she is very talented as well as being so nice
bluekarin
What an amazing day of tennis yesterday! So pleased Andy won, not just because I wanted him too, but after Janowiz's moaning about when they were going to close the roof he really didn't endear himself to me. I said to my hubby that if he got through, I would want Djokovic to win and I never want him to win That said, the interview with him afterwards he seemed almost human! So roll on tomorrow and *fingerscrossed* Andy finally winning Looking forward to Lisicki winning today
sparkysmum
The town was buzzing with reporters yesterday in preparation for todays final, great atmosphere. The Scottish Sun newspapaer was out too and this brought a bit of glam to the town. A couple of pics Daisy, our Yorkie caught the eye of the Sun photographer and after a lovely photoshoot I took this. Daisy and the Sun girls. What glamour, what fun Come on Andy
