Gertie
I thought you might like to see a few photos of my new chicks. They are 7 weeks old and very cute and very tame. They are pet quality not show quality. Unfortunately you cannot see their moustaches in these photos as they would not stand still but they have cute little ones. No beard yet though. They have settled in really well. They spent the whole afternoon scratching around for a handfull of mealworms I threw down at 2pm. I won't be introducing them to my other girls for quite a while as they have a lot of growing to do. This is Honey This is Bumble I named them after the recent bees in my roof incident! Chicken deficient
Lovely! I'd really like some Faverolles, but I think they'd squash my Pekins! Maybe one day...

goodinparts
Oh how lovely Faverolles are my absolutely favourite of all hens - and I'm getting a couple in September (away too much between now & then, & don't want to miss out on the bonding!) Your pictures have got me all excited... Enjoy

Gertie
They really are sweet natured. I gave them some more mealworms today. They ate them from my hands and were so busy scrabbling around trying the find the morsels, I could stroke them! That's exciting news Goodinparts. I would agree with you!
