Chickabee
I was told what she was when I bought her, but have forgotten. She is a hybrid
Charlottechicken
She looks an Omlet Mrs Pepperpot, AKA black rock. Lovely girl!
Chickabee
Definitely not a miss pepperpot. It was black something, she has ginger flecks around her neck.
Ain't Nobody Here
Two that I've had that sound like that were a Black Star and a Copper Black Maran.

The Dogmother
That hybrid has various different names depending on the supplier.. Black Rock, Black Star etc.
Ain't Nobody Here
That's what makes it so hard for us novices to remember what breed our darn chickens are .
redsunset
I have 5 of them so would say rhode rock? I know black rock is common to say but if my memory serves me right true black rocks are not so common? Either way she is lovely and some of mine have a lovely iridescent green sheen of their back feathers as they are hybrids too and can vary in black/brown/gold feathers on the necks. Chickabee
I just found out that my light Sussex reverse is a Daisybelle. I think that's a much nicer name
Chickabee
Jut looked on the omlet shop. She is defiantly the same as miss pepperpot
