Is it me? Another Ebay thread - updated

Recommended Posts

I am selling some bits and bobs on ebay at the moment. I have just received a question about one of the items, a blouse. It is a size 8 and I have listed the length, bust, waist and hemline measurements as it is very fitted. Someone has just asked if it will be too big for a size 6

I really thought I was killing two birds with one stone putting the measurements on as well as the size, it appears not

Oh for goodness sake :shameonu: ! Like you, I always put measurements as sizes do very so much; equally, if I want to bid on something then I ask for measurements even if its a brand that I am familiar with (Boden, for ex can vary by 2" on the same size, which is a lot!)

Its similar to listing an item as COLLECT ONLY (which I always do, where applicable, in large letters so numptys will read and understand) only to be asked how much postage will I charge or whether a courier can collect :wall: 'I know you only post to UK but how much would you charge to Finland?'

Sometimes I think that people only see what they want to see!

Oh dear, here we go again!

I've got a dress on Ebay which I have described in item specifics as 3/4 sleeved, and in the main write up I have given the unstretched measurements, specifying that the measurements are with the fabric unstretched. Just had a message asking me if the dress is stretchy and are the sleeves long or 3/4.

I am not replying to this one!
