Porridge will be made for the first time in my life I am ashamed to admit as a Scots woman... hope I don't burn a good pan and get it right and then the other goodies will be added in. They're all wrapped up and under the tree with the other gifts waiting for the Big Day. I have always found a couple of pet-presents to unwrap a useful distraction for a kid who gets a couple of parcels short of their sibling.....
