ally-ally-alio
Hi guys, It's my boy best friend's birthday coming up soon ish. He'll be 17 and he's a Christian.. he always gets me really nice cute thoughtful presents. What can I get him? I usually spend about £10-£15 ish. I want it to be special to him and not just some chocolate or something He's musical, not really sporty... I'd be really grateful for any ideas. Thankyou! Grandmashazzie
Could you make him a CD of songs that are special to him,a mix of Christian songs and pop?If you have a nice photo of the two of you,you could frame it.Maybe a customised T shirt, see thread on nesting box about a week ago. Jules.
Your friend sounds very much like my son he plays the guitar and bass guitar and we once bought him a recycled metal guitarist from the Manchester Christmas markets. If you google images of "recycled metal guitar" then I hope you can see the kind of thing that I mean. Son has his sat on his bedroom window ledge and it looks pretty
LolaLayla
I was at a Christian musical event where they had interesting stalls. One that impressed me sold "Holy socks" with biblical pictures, quotes etc. I remember one musical style. If you google 'holy socks' you will see them (sorry I cannot do a link). Socks may not sound the most exciting gift but these are really unusual.

UKMARCH
How about a ukulele you may be able to get one for upper end of budget if he's likes playing?
chickencam
Food hamper of his favourite treats maybe. I rid one for my OH's birthday last week, found a nice box and bought 3 coordinating colours of tissue paper and some wrapping paper in similar colours and presented quite a few simple things in a nice way. He seemed happy. Mt ED made memory boxes and s"Ooops, word censored!"books for her friends one year with photographs and other bits and bobs.
