suse71
Hi, My bantam Wyandotte, Flossie is still not laying after the winter and a moult in October when she stopped laying. Is this fluffy one just freeloading or is this normal? Anyone else's not laying again yet? We miss her little eggs!
Purplemaniacs
One of my wyandotte bantams a silver barred one started laying a few weeks ago, the other one a gold laced wyandotte has only just started and one Welsummer bantam laid her first egg of the year yesterday and the other Welsummer last week. suse71
That's funny Margaret! So there is still hope for her Purplemaniacs? I will wait and see - I had hoped with all this Spring weather she might fancy pushing one out but not yet.... Thanks!
Beantree
Worth checking her over for general health Suse71. Presume she has been wormed and there are no red mite in the coop. We've had slow starters this year who only started laying last week. They are Wyandottes as well.

suse71
Yay Margaret! I love Flossie's small eggs - perfect for my 3 yr old! Will just wait patiently! Have checked red mite Beantree as did a huge clean out last week and worming wasn't too long ago although might try that again as it is due soon - thanks for the reminder Beantree! Luvachicken
My Queenie has not laid yet this year, she is the only one out of my 4 not laying. I think she is having a rest as last year she started laying on 1st of Jan. No sign of that this year though

Purplemaniacs
I breed Wyandottes. Most of mine have not started laying yet this year Much to the sorrow of my incubator My two are doing well then. Are they later than normal, as my two were from your eggs two years ago and they hatched at Easter but not sure if Easter was later two years ago?
