tara
Wow I love it wonder if it would connect to the omlet walk in run Edited April 11, 2014 by Guest
Purplemaniacs
Interesting. I wonder why they didn't make an eglu up. I am not very keen on the Go but then I have never had one, just don't fancy having to open everything to get to the eggs. Shall I add one to my birthday list I think the answer would begin with N and end in o Chrissie
tara
Well I really like it ,, but I had an eglu classic and sold it last year but ended up missing having hens to much but I didn't like the opening the back up but have to say it's ok the egg bit isn't very deep but small price to pay ,,, I'm def going to look into get one of theses no more bending down
hammy72
I quite like it, especially if there will be an opportunity to extend the run? I currently have 2 hens in a and was going to save up for a but this might be an affordable way of giving old and new hens their own space. chuckmum6
I think it's great - a mini cube! I will now be planning and scheming ways to convert my go (which is already up - on a table with a ladder) properly. I don't have or really need a run, but that doesn't stop me plotting!!!!! I must resist as I am already getting loads of stick about spoilt hens
jasperaliceuk
Love it too but to convert would cost £260! You'd have thought it would have been designed so that you could at least use some of the existing Go run. Sue
tara
Is that just for the run or the fixing kit to make it higher up on the stands with lader ??
jasperaliceuk
Its basically the whole wire run and wheels. You'd have to throw all the existing run! Sue
chuckmum6
If you just want to elevate your Go in a WIR then it's £79, if I hadn't made my own, using a plastic table from Tesco and a ladder, a climber from B&Q, I may well have bought the frame and ladder. clipclopcluck
I am so tempted to get this... Which usually means I will get this! Lol It just makes sense to utilise space and have the coop higher.

tara
Hurry up and buy it, post pictures and then I can convince myself that I need it too. i second that we want you to buy it first ,,,, you know you want to ,,,go for purple
clipclopcluck
Ah but you see, I have a (without a run) currently empty. So it would actually make sense to get the UP run. I do like the purple in the Go though... It reminds of wine.
tara
There eglu classics are fab I had one but sold it ,,,, you wouldn't be satisfied without a new go up you'd keep looking and I know this because I'm doing the same ,,, but only just had my omlet walk in run delivered this week so funds are building up again ,,
clipclopcluck
Yes, deep down I know I will be getting one but like you, have to wait for the funds. I have 2 cubes, 2 gos and a classic. Pleased with all of the housing but the wheels and no bending with the cube (and now the up) is the icing on the cake.
tara
Wow you got loads mind you I had 2 eglus and a cube ,,, sold everything as my life changed but missed having hens so now have a eglu go with a walk in omlet run very exciting we are waiting for our second hen to start laying the other one has laid 4 eggs now
chuckmum6
Well, I have ordered the Up frame for my Go house, next (after payday) I will order the run as I am hoping to join it to my WIR. Then I will have the cube train attached and a small Go train, which can become my coop of shame to isolate my broodies! My Eglu can remain as a raised (on a table) nest box inside the WIR and I then have my Forsham ark for isolation or hatching out in I will need to do it stages , but it is bound to set OH off moaning about spoilt chickens ! tara
Phone fab I'd like it but I've got the omlet walk in run and up high it wouldn't work so I'd have to have the go up on its own
Cat tails
Received my Up on Monday and put it together the same day. Took some time, but wasn't too difficult. Very happy with it. My new chicks are happy too. A few things take getting used to, for me and the chickens. But this is my first ever coop and first ever chickens, so everything is new. New here and haven't figured out how to post pics, but will do as soon as possible.
