Three years ago today, Zoe came out of the battery cage with a broken wing.

 

It hasn't stopped her enjoying her freedom, and I can't quite believe she is still with us

I'm guessing she must be nearly 5, doing the maths.

 

We've had 6 ex batts over the years, most have survived around the 12-18 month mark, one lived two days short of anniversary two, but Zoe is just incredible

 

I still have one of my original hybrids too..... Now she's a very elderly lady
