Hi beantree, have just seen you have posted.....you have to check out the thread "where is beantree?" It's hilarious....suffice to say you have Ben away ages and were missed:))) I asked a question and the thread took on a like of its own

Read the 'where is Beantree?' thread Gavclojak. Didn't think anyone would really notice. The thread is extraordinary and I was reminded of holidays on Mull and the waterfall on the West coast road opposite the Isle of Ulva I think? We got stranded there after missing the last ferry. Fortunately the ferryman saw our frantic waving on the far shore and came over to get us. Used to stay in a cottage on Calgary Bay. The Canadian Bay is so named because the Governor used to holiday on Mull as a child apparently.

 

Wasn't much of a 'holiday' unfortunately Leeweedon. Now I have a lot of work to do preparing for Winter, so time on the forum will be very limited for quite a while. I'll just be looking in on an occasional basis.

Yes it was - we were just on the way to popping over and took a time out for the waterfall. Laughed at the missing the last ferry back again. We did such a long walk and then found a sign saying 30 minutes to the ferry. Then after we'd been walking for 15 minutes saw another sign saying 30 minutes!!! Some time later there was a sign for both directions saying 10 minutes. We picked one and were relieved to find the right place! But we had time for a light lunch before crossing again. Hope all goes well with you Beantree.
