PixieDust
Yes she is squatting and has been popping into the nest box a couple of times a day for the last couple of days. Very exciting. Fingers crossed for a blue egg
Luvachicken
Oh yes, I had forgotten about the squatting. I was concentrating on their red combs of which I have 2. Fingers crossed your egg comes soon.

clucker1
Wait til you try a columbine egg, the yolks are super delish. My girl has just started laying again, 4 weeks ahead of last year,I'm so pleased as its her third year and understand they can be so hit and miss. eve
My columbine lays a pale blue egg it is the largest egg and great for frying as the white always stays in one place, unlike the rangers eggs that take up all the pan .
