PixieDust Posted April 8, 2015 Author Share Posted April 8, 2015 They have a shallow trug with sand and DE in which was supposed to be a dust bath. They just dig in it. They often end up either under the coop or on its roof. The mirror thing was cheap so it was worth a try. Each chicken is different I guess. Luckily my garden slopes and they are at the top so I just look out of the living room window and can see my ladies....we gave them the top of the garden because we only ever used the patio anyway and now we have hens the garden is so much more interesting...the enclosure it's actually bigger than it looks in photo 1, I tool it as a panoramic shot and it's squashed it!!
