quickcluck
Has anyone tried this? I done it done last week, as my hair can be on the frizzy side, it's very fine but there is loads of it. I also have a muscle condition which makes drying my hair tricky at times, it can take 45mins with rests taken for my arms...... I was sceptical but soooooo pleased with the results. I washed it for the 1st time today, rough dried it and turned the ends under in 10 minutes flat It's stayed perfect all day including sweating in the garden, not a curl in sight!!! Yay me! Daphne
I am pleased for you, its nice to hear good news Can I admit I've never heard of a Brazilian blow dry and am too scared to look it up on the internet
quickcluck
:lol I think it works as it coats your hair in protein using keratin. You can get kits to do it at home but wasn't brave enough. If treated properly it should last up to 12 weeks!!! Be brave look it up!
Grandmashazzie
I just looked it up. I have straight hair but I do like the sound of the shine and gloss.I wonder how good the home kits are. The prices for salon treatment sounded quite pricey.
quickcluck
keratin kits do one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Brazilian-Keratin-Treatment-Straightening-COMPLETE/dp/B003YUEF7C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1438546501&sr=8-1&keywords=keratin+kits I am using their shampoo and conditions. My hair is very shiny and soft, but not lanky still has body in it...
Daphne
Ah, it would probably suit me too, I have thick hair with a mind of its own, flat gloss is something of a holy grail However, I don't think I'd be brave enough - I've just read the Jenifer Aniston story You'll have to let us know how it goes
The Dogmother
They've just started doing this at my hair salon, and when I had my hair cut last week, a woman was having this done. They told her that she has to use sulphate free shampoo and conditioner otherwise it will wash the coating off.
quickcluck
Thats right, sulphate and salt free...... even if it lasts a couple of month for me its a massive bonus!
Chucky Mama
I've had one. I am afraid it didn't last long at all. I have Afro mixed hair. I was pleased initially although rather concerned at the need to have the door open due to the clouds of 'vapor' produced during the procedure I haven't had it done since as it was costly for something that didn't last long. May be fine for someone with different hair though.
quickcluck
I am lucky as a friend did it so was only £25. Mine smelled of vanilla choc!
Alis girls
I also hovered over the mouse after the thread re hedge cutting which caused confusion. As a frizzy haired blonde I might look into this.
