Mar1a
Chickens, yes, children maybe I hate worming week. I just give them marriages layers pellets that contain flubenvet. It's torture for me not to give them any treats but it's worth it after the five days

clucker1
I'd look up thread worms if I were you. I only treated my children when they needed treating, this was only when they were young and at school sharing the toilets with everyone else. My worst experience was when they had nits and worms at the same time, Aagh!!!!!!!!
eve
How would i know if my kids have worms?? Is it if they have them in poo or bottom?
chooksRCute
Your local pharmacy' will have leaflets about this issue, I wouldn't advise treating unless you have reason to believe you have an infestation, this can lead to treatment resistance. It's pretty easy to recognise the symptoms of most common worms in humans (UK), and also easy to treat. Good hygiene or not it's always best to be vigilant, as transmission of infection, bacteria, worm eggs ect is generally caused through someone else's poor hygiene regardless of how keen yours is!! The Dogmother
Exactly! Besides, smaller children always have their hands in their mouths
Chickabee
very itchy bottom, especially at night. My goddaughter used to get them because she sucked her thumb, then the whole family had to be treated. No side effects of medicine though. I've got 4 grown up children who have never had them. I think I've/they've just been lucky
