Alis girls
There was a time we had loads of callers - we are on a main road - but I watched "Strictley" in peace.
Groovychook
Halloween must be very big in Holland. I have a friend who lives in Apeldoorn and she was telling me yesterday that there would be 80 children trick or treating in their street last night She sent me a photo of a very scary masked little person who'd just knocked on her door... would have frightened the life out of me! Cat tails
Apeldoorn! I have friends over there too! Well it really depends on where you live, some places don't do anything. This is the first village I have lived in that actually organises it.

soapdragon
There were about 20/25 groups of children out in our village last night, some accompanied by parents and some not. We live in a small close off the main road so not quite in the village but still get masses of children. I had put up a couple of the police notices which politely ask children not to visit but they got torn down I still find the amount of money that it all costs for just one night a bit sickening; at least with Christmas you can make it last for a good couple of weeks at least! At least the close was tidy this year; last year there was a huge amount of wrappers and sweet papers left lying around the following morning.
