Sleepygardener
Hi All, What do you all use to cover your runs? We have an eglu go up with a 3m run. It obviously comes with the standard small cover and I bought an additional clear 1m cover. However there’s still 1m open to the elements at the end and neither of the existing covers come down far enough at the sides to keep the run dry, can you suggest alternatives? Thanks! The Dogmother
Get a clear market stall tarpaulin from ebay - they work well
Cat tails
The 1 m Cube cover fits over the run of the Go Up. Leaves about 20 cm free on the bottom. You would need several or use the 2 m clear cover.
Patricia W
I usually buy the clear tarpaulins, replacing them about every 3 years or so, but saw clear, allegedly heavy duty, shower curtains on Amazon so thought I'd give one a whirl. I've just put it on, secured by bungees. Don't think it will last longer than the summer but it was only £6.99.
mullethunter
I have used the Omlet covers (good but expensive), a shower curtain (too flimsy) and now have glass clear tarpaulins from tarpaflex (brilliant).
The Dogmother
Use the tarps with webbing through them - they tend to last longer
