Yes, you can get them without holes, but the statement was made after the ones with holes were being worn apparantley.

My sister ia a Nurse, & thats what she just told me.

All her staff wear them (without holes) but I guess the summer meant that a few people tried the holey ones for cooler feet

It's also an infection control issue - nurses often get splashed with various body fluids. Although crocs are washable, so better than the old, flat lace ups we had to wear, there is a risk of things penetrating through to the skin with the holey variety.

Holes in tablets I thought, wow that's a new innovation, make them easy to break and swallow I could regret saying this but I don't swallow tablets easily either.
