Turtle
Today we collected our and . We have got two, both 18 weeks,I can just about tell them apart, (although the rest of my family are finding this difficult! )The slightly larger and lighter one is called Primrose and is the dominate chicken. The other smaller and darker one is Clover. They both get along but Primrose is always first to feed.Clover is slightly cleverer than Primrose as she was the one who worked out the eglu was where they were supposed to sleep. Sorry for the detailed account but I am so pleased with them . P.S How do you put pictures on the actual post with out a link?
Carol U
Congratulations - it's lovely that you are so pleased with them. You may find that the pecking order changes a few times as they find their feet. Ours did. You'll now be looking forward to your first egg! Look forward to hearing about it! Turtle
Chickens are settling in well now. Have given them a wood ash dust bath, but they seem to prefere the holes they have dug in the lawn!
