Girly
Does anyone know if the eglu go up is easy to manoeuvre through a WIR door or will I have to dismantle it first and re-build inside the run?
Cat tails
Why not build the WIR around the Go Up?
Girly
I might have to, but it wasn’t the way I planned things! Lol!
Cat tails
Probably easier to build around than to dismantle the Go.
HarrisonFamily
We move our GO in and out of our WIR as needed without dismantling but it depends on door size - the guinea pigs use it in the summer but if we ever need to isolate any hens its taken back in - its light and easy to manoeuvre but this is just the Go and not go up .
Lewis
I have a 3ft wooden WIR panel with the Go inside and once it's in you can't take it out - I have done a couple of times but you have to dismantle it to get it through the door so not very easy! It's been a while since I've seen an Omlet WIR but I don't remember the door being super wide.
Cat tails
In the case of an Omlet WIR, it’s probably easier to remove one side panel, than trying to get it through the door.
mullethunter
The actual house itself will just about go through the run door if you take off the green outside layer. It’s very tight though. I don’t know about the stand as I only have a Go rather than a Go Up
Cat tails
The stand is slightly wider than the house.
Girly
Thank you all so much for your input. Today I’m going to try different ideas. I want to give the coop a good clean, along with all the bits and bobs. It’s been so muddy lately. And auboise bedding was very good but I’ve found it everywhere you can think of in the house! Can’t wait to recycle it all! The garden leads straight into our sitting room, and even with a mat at the door the carpet definitely needs cleaning! 😂😂😂😂
