Cinnamon
I got my Mammoths through the mail from jellyegg today, & I think I quite like them I am not 100%, but I reckon they will grow on me. 2 things I should pass on to you lot - 1: They come up very, very small.I am a UK 5.5, I wear a Crocs 6 which fots prefectly, but have had to get a 7 in these as the furry inner makes them smaller. 2: It seems that Jellyegg no longer do free returns, although I wasn't told this upon ordering
Cinnamon
I have had to send the 7's back too - my toes touched the ends when I walked,so might have to go up to an
The Dogmother
ahhh, thanks for that Sarah, I have them on my Christmas list and usually buy a children's size 3, might have to go up to an adult 4 then
Cinnamon
Well, hang on a minute Clare. This is all very odd I just phoned jellyegg & they said that all the staff are wearing their normal size, as they furry bit flattens out after a bit. So I tried on the 6 (I ordered both) & they fit better than the 7. They feel snug, but comfy. I think my toe was touching the end of the 7 because they were too big & my foot was slipping forwards. In retrospect,I do really like them, so I am going to keep them for the winter months
The Dogmother
Sounds reasonable... so you're keeping the size 6 then, which is your usual size?
Cinnamon
I am usually a 6 in Crocs. I have them on now - lovley & cosy
The Dogmother
Mmmm, can't wait to get some. I've retired my credit card for a while , but have them on my Christmas list
Snowy
Thanks for that Sarah, I've had my eye on a pair of these for a while. I was wondering whether or not to order my usual size 3 or go to a size 4. I'd made up my mind to get 4s, but I'm unsure again now!
Cinnamon
Jellyegg are advising to up a half size, which isn't much good if you are a full size already,as crocs don't come in halfs I would try your normal, my usual 6's are fine now that I have squashed the furry bit down a little
Cinnamon
Update - I have given up on these The 6 were too tight,& I wore them at home for an hour or so,until my feet went tingly. The 7 had my toes hitting the end, which are now throbbing. I cannot possible be an 8 - I am only a 5.5 in other shoes I do love them, but they are not designed for feet like mine
craftyhunnypie
I've thought about getting a pair of these, but wondered if with them having a furry liner, if they would start to pong after a while ? I'm afraid I've been a traitor. I bought some Sketchers shoes for my hols made of the crocs sort of foamy stuff in red & they have been sooooo comfy. They were £20 from Brantano! My sister in laws partner has got himself a pair of mammoths - not sure if they look good on blokes??? Think I'll have to try a pair on, before buying some - just not convinced. I'm into georgie boots at the moment! I bought a copy pair for £6 and bought a real pair of pink ones whilst on holiday. They are excellent for doing the chooks in when it's wet and all the froggies come out! Emma.x
Cinnamon
I've thought about getting a pair of these, but wondered if with them having a furry liner, if they would start to pong after a while ? It is removable & washable. I tried them on with no liner & they were still way too small (they are made in China, & all my others are from Boulder,Colarado)

Snowy
The only gadgets mine likes are power tools - the bigger the better! I'm afraid he's a complete techno-numpty. He wanted a new mobilephone for his birthday - a Motorola RazrV3. I was quite surprised at this from a man who has clung to his nokia 3310 for years. When I gave it him he opened it up and had a play then tutted in disgust. I asked what was wrong with it and got the answer "I STILL can't read whats on the screen" (he thought bigger screen = bigger writing). craftyhunnypie
I think there is a mobile available now with huge numbers etc - especially aimed at the more mature market! I think it is quite basic though. Perhaps a trip to Specsavers might be a better option? Bless him! Emma.x
Guest
Shame they don't fit. I can't wait for mine but I phoned my stockist last week and they were not expecting them in till beginning of Nov now. I looked on jellyegg and couldn't order in my size! Snowy
He's happy with it now, I've changed the wallpaper so it's a bit clearer and it now plays Amarillo as a ring tone Small things eh ... And he does have glasses, just won't wear them. Says they make him look old. I keep telling him ... he IS old. Ahem, back on thread I've had my eye on these from the US on ebay, they keep being relisted and each time the price drops another couple of pounds. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=190162006944&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=009 This is the seller: For £9.99 postage you can order more than one pair! http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Ruffle-Tuffles
The Dogmother
They are so you Snowy... you just have to get them We had a supplier, whose phone played Amarillo as the ring tone VERY LOUDLY I stopped ordering from him on that basis - it went off constantly and it was doing my head in
Omletina Kyckling
Hi - I just got a pair of Mammoths so thought I'd update you on sizes for me. I have two pairs of Mary Janes in a W9 (UK7) and a pair of Troikas which I bought from the states in a W9 (but these are snugger than the MJs so you could easily go up a size in these, particularly as you wear them with socks) After what I read on here, I bought a W10 in the mammoths and I'd say they are just right. They feel strange compared to the others as there is no back strap so they don't feel like they might stay on your feet, but I like them and they feel very snuggly. I live in a draughty, old farmhouse so need all the snugglies I can get!!
Charlottechicken
I'm into georgie boots at the moment! I bought a copy pair for £6 and bought a real pair of pink ones whilst on holiday. They are excellent for doing the chooks in when it's wet and all the froggies come out! I've just bought my mum a pair of the mock croc wellies (for Christmas) for £8 in Priceless. She wanted orange ones, I am kicking myself for not buying a pair for me too They are so light Emma, where did you buy them for £6???? ubereglu
I'm still not sure about the Crocs Mammoths. I really like the Alice's though as they come in some lovely colours. However I wouldn't be sure what size to get them in as I have a feeling they'd fit like the Prima's would and the 8's were too small and the 9's too big, so I'd ened up having to find a shop so I could try them on. Besides last weekend I ended up with another pair of caymans in purple, so I don't really want to buy another pair of Crocs as I already have three pairs!
