PurpleHen
Oooh Kaz - I feel sorry for you, hope you're feeling better. I had something similar about 7 years ago - lots of physio helped me get right asap. Now you have given me an idea, see new post...

Cate in NZ
Well Kaz, if you're a very good girl and keep resting that knee someone might be along later with a big book of bedtime stories I hope it's feeling a little better today. motherhen
Hope they gave you enough horse pills to knock yourself out again last night as well. Are you any better today or are you getting the post-op blues If the latter you might like to know that G&B choc has no calories at all if consumed in bed having been broken into pieces by someone else The high cocoa almond milk one is really nice if you don't feel quite strong enough for dark chocolate. And remember that 'Women Need Chocolate' The title of a book I read once, something to do with our hormones and the chemicals in chocolate. If you need pain relief tonight, don't forget the ancient and effective medicinal use of alcohol Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Popcorn
Hey - that's good thinking Mel. I' just had a big piece of fruit cake myself. Now I don't have to feel so bad about it Would you like some Kaz, or are you all caked out now?
Sheilaz
Hi Kaz, How's it going? Are you still at painkiller & bedrest stage? I've brought you a cuppa & a hot water bottle. I'm off to bed soon, here's your bedtime story..... "once upon a time, a pretty young woman adopted some rescue chooks, and posted some pics on the forum gallery. Along came her fairy godmother, who looked at the lovely pics, then went to bed and dreamt of chickens. On her way, she waved her wand, and the pretty young woman read the forum, had a chuckle at some of the postings, and went to bed too, dreaming of chickens!" Sweet dreams! PS. Sometimes the old woman takes so long to type, she misses the moment and finds out that everyone else has logged out & gone to bed already!
