Hey guys,

Thanks for all your comments. Yes, we are messing with some of the code on the website as a few things have gone wrong.

1) The blog listing only shows 5 results at the moment. This will be fixed this afternoon.

2) The login problem appear to be Kooringa's computer which seems not to like cookie etc. I have spoken to her about this and hopefully it should be running smoothly again.

This software we are using is quite well established - rather like the forum. We have made some modifications to it, but only a few. I expect the bugs to be ironed out over the next few days so please don't be put off from using or writing blogs.

James

I had to get James to patiently talk me through it Louise.

You click the little button with the picture of a mountain on and this brings up a box where you click "Upload new file" and you browse your computer for the relevant picture. Make sure it's no larger than 500 x 500 and click "Upload". The picture will then go onto a Private Collection list and to insert it into the text, click on the picture title you want and then click OK in the little box which comes up and it should come into the text as a string of code which will then be a picture when you submit the page. Hope this helps.

Everything seems to be working perfectly well on eglu.co.uk now so if anyone else wants to post their chicken news, please do as I seem to be the only one doing it at the moment and am a bit lonely  !

Thanks folks  !

You're too good Kate - I'm feeling v. guilty for neglecting the blog with only one posting so far, and to top that - our digi camera is playing up so I can't take new piccies to post either......Will sort it on my day off tomorrow :D

I had problems with pix too Louise, and James called me - it won't upload files with apostrophes or other characters like that in the file name. Could that be your problem?

We had an interesting chat about where they want to go with the blogs and what might work well on it. James is working on it like mad now, so we might see some developments soon. :D

I haven't forgotten to post. Have put 13 or 14 on - when the blog site first started - the first ones went into 'January Archives' - where you can find them if you click on it!

So although you don't see mine popping up on the front page (the latest ones do and which is lovely to see them changing daily) I have been busy!

Will post more later in the month - I kinda neglected other things to do them so have some catching up to do.
