craftyhunnypie
Ah yes, I know where it is now. Next weekend can't come quick enough as I'm sooooo bored today. It's raining & we can't go anywhere coz of hubby doing his DJ ing tonight! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr To be honest, I'm fed up with him today as when he is around we are not doing anything together or going anywhere ! Annoying! If I want to go anyway or do anything, I have to go & do it alone....the story of my whole life!!! There rant over!!! Emma.x
Jules.
I know we are meeting at 11am outside Kendals HOF, but has anyone thought about what we will do then?
Egluntyne
Wander about, look at the shops, find somewhere to sit for a cup of tea/lunch. Group photo I don't suppose we will want to stick together all day. Was going to have a look at Anything Left Handed but the shop doesn't seem to exist anymore. I hope you all have a fantastic time! have a Gluewein for me Krysia
craftyhunnypie
I'm still coming!!!!!! Just checked train times and got the price etc from trainline.com . I need to finish my shopping off & need some gluhwein, proper stuff that you drink in the freezing cold open air....not the bottles that you buy from Aldi & Tesco. I'm just a bit concerned - how will I recognise the Omlet lot? I've not met you before! Will someone be waving an omlet flag or a Union Jack?? I'm sorry, I think I'll be in my boots, rather than my crocs - it's a bit too brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Emma.x

Muppet81
Martin and I are still coming. I will be wearing a black coat and red christmas bauble earings so should be easy to recognise. Looking forward to it especially if it stays dry, cold and frosty.
Egluntyne
I still plan to come...unless the weather makes in not sensible to travel. I shall wear an russet coloured coat and black scarf. I have short dark hair. I shall log on first thing and make my final decision then.

Egluntyne
Well I'm back. We had a great time. It was lovely to meet Pam and Martin and Emma. We recognised eachother without any difficulty. We wandered around the market, drank spiced apple juice and gluhwein, bought some bits and pieces. We were very restrained in the spending dept! We had an intriguing lunch which was a cross between a pizza and a pancake and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place was absolutely heaving. We were very lucky with the weather.....freezing cold but dry bright and sunny. Perfect. Am feeling Christmassy now. Pics to follow.
Muppet81
Just got back and had a lovely time meeting Emma and Ann. As Eglutine says, the weather was perfect and a good time was had by all. I have 3 photos to post but am not sure how to do this. Just seeing if this one works.

craftyhunnypie
I got the 16.51 train back, I was worn out - got in the house at 6pm. What a great day I've had! Really enjoyed your company Pam, Ann & Martin! That Gluhwein was lovely - I erm....had another one later, as I was getting cold (well that's my excuse)! Yes lunch was very nice, a crispy sort of pancake with onions, cheese & bacon. Speaking of cheese, hubby reckons we are having a German breakfast tomorrow with hot crusty rolls, the bavarian cheeses I bought, ham, jam etc! I went back after & bought 2 of those zippy bags - one for me & a larger one for my mum. I was fascinated! I also bought a couple of glass baubles & some Christmas night scented candles. Got my snow! Got the bear for my sisters friends baby, well not a bear, but a reindeer with reindeer slippers & santa outfit on! Very cute! I managed to finish all my christmas shopping today. Got a doggy t shirt from Next for my sister in laws little Yorkie - it says security on it!!! Went in Hotel Chocolat & spent a small fortune on some Xmas chocolates & a couple of large slabs of chocolate - for the men I have to buy for, makes a change to toblerone! Got some PJ's & slippers for my friend from Debenhams, had a quick scoot round Primark, but couldn't be done with the pushing & shoving. My feet are killing & crying out for my crocs. I've had my chocolate covered fruit kebab on the train home - I think I'll be making some of them up! I've just had a bowl full of stew ( made by hubby & left in the slow cooker for me - bless) with red cabbage. Going for a nice bubbly bath, with my bath bomb I bought from Lush & getting my jim jams on to watch X factor! Photos are good everybody! It was nice to put faces & real names to you all! Thanks I really enjoyed it! Hope we can do something again in the New Year! Chooks have given me 3 eggs whilst I've been out!!!
