Lesley
Yep!! as in the US Carl had that a couple of times - and sausage patties in maple syrup! He left the syrup as he doesn't have a sweet tooth.

Lesley
They think it's strange to eat bacon or sausage without maple syrup! I don't know if it's all over the US - we were with relatives in Minnesota, close to the Canadian border, a big Maple Syrup state.

Goosey Lucy
Personally I'm a lemon and sugar girl but my two boys love sausages and maple syrup. Their second choice is golden syrup with 100s & 1000s closely followed by Green & Blacks chocolate spread with mini marshmallows. We eat a lot of pancakes in our house! The Dogmother
Lucy, I prefer lemon and sugar too because I haven't got a sweet tooth. Rosie and Phil drown theirs in all sorts of sweet gunk and love it like that
