poopy shoes advice- crocs?

Recommended Posts

I have wide feet and a high instep as well and I don't wear anything other than Crocs - they helped me to regain confidence to walk without a stick even though they are loose fitting.

I had one pair which rubbed slightly on the top of my foot because of my high instep, but it wasn't too bad and I kept wearing them with no problems.

I have terrible feet and struggle to find shoes which are comfortable but Crocs are just fabulous and I hardly know I've got them on! As it's winter and I've changed into Uggs for going out in, I've now got an indoor pair of Crocs which I use as slippers as they're both comfy and warm enough and an outdoor (chicken run) pair which I slip on to go out to look after the hens. They are covered in chicken poo most of the time but I take them off on the doorstep, put my indoor ones on and fling the dirty ones in the utility sink where the chicken poo washes off in seconds. They dry out really quickly and are ready to go back outside again. Every couple of months, I pop both pairs in the washing machine on a quick wash and they come out looking brand new. They are amazingly comfortable and I could walk without aching feet all summer.

know what you mean about that, the "Ooops, word censored!"bly bone sticks up doesn't it ("Ooops, word censored!"bly bone being the medical definition, not!), always the first place to get sun burnt too! ;)

we're going to an outlet place (cheshire oaks), tons of shops in once place, so we can do the dreaded christmas shopping at the same time, they're bound to have somewhere that sells crocs :?

just need to find somewhere 'ethical' there to eat as we'll probably be there all bloomin day!

:roll::cry:

if you're worried about eating ethically, then take your own - we often pack our own lunch for a day out.

we don't eat out often these days, can't remember the last time, so it was going to be a bit of a treat- sort of make a day of it, although the idea of eating out these days seems to be filled with trepidation.

veggie pizza for me i think.
