Karen & co.
I moved the girls the other day into the veg patch as it's fenced off and then put the omlet fencing inside, hopefully belt and braces! as we're going skiing on saturday for a week and a neighbour is popping in to take care of the girls. I know they will be fine, but I'm sure they're sulking as they can't see the back door from their run now (plus I can't see them from the kitchen ) Hope they forgive me Karen x
chocchick
I'm sure they'll enjoy destroying your vegetable patch, don't worry! I bet you'll miss them.

The Dogmother
Mine peck at the cat flap and squawk through it at me if they see me inside and ignoring them! When I'm sitting eat at the dining table, they line up at the French doors peering through at us!

Popcorn
Hi Karen, Have a lovely holiday - I'm sure your chooks will be safe and sound and have the rich pickings of the left over planted veggies! Funny actually, as we did a similar thing with ours over the weekend as we were busy laying slabs etc to get them from under our feet (and under the slabs!) and they kicked up a right old fuss. They wanted to know why they couldn't come a peer at us through the kitchen doors and shout hello anymore! They soon settled down to a dust bath though
chocchick
They did put up a fuss when we put Beth in their omlet run, horrible screaming noises. Had to distract them with barley to sneak her in Su landed on my back when I was bent over today
