little chickadee
Here is the link http://www.lakeland.co.uk/product.aspx/!21307_21306 I'm thinking about getting one for our office, as, although we turn everything off overnight, we have oodles of plugs and things on standby during the day as both of us are working on and off. I'm not sure how it works though
Ain't Nobody Here
Never heard of it before but it sounds interesting. Hopefully someone will have one .
Guest
I havn't gone for those - tbh turning off the screen to turn things off sounds wrong - it should be on the computer to save the danger of turning off the screen when the computer is still running and causing damage. I have gone for "powerdowns" instead - you can plug extention leads into them and when you turn off the computer then it turns the lot off. I got mine on Ebay. http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=powerdown

You can plug in the PC to the main socket (on the intellipanel(sp?)) and that will turn everything off
Ain't Nobody Here
The only things I switch off when I switch off my PC are the screen and speakers. The printer & scanner go off by themselves. Although now I think about it, my external drive is always left on . Is one of these "powerdowns" the kind of thing I should have so that gets switched off? Presumably I'm wasting electricity leaving it on constantly .
little chickadee
I seem to have lights on loads of things (screen, keyboard, speakers) when I put my computer to hibernate. I will look on the main website to see what it says.
