craftyhunnypie
blackrocks are brilliant! We love our Rolo. She is little & squat, but really cute & pretty. She also lays lovely eggs - they are quite small, but perfect, smooth & come out clean - never any marks or poo on her eggs!!! Congrats Emma.x
nicki9
congrats - I see you're thinking along the food names - that was my husbands concession to getting them - he named them hence Tikka, Balti and Sunday (He wanted to call her "Roast" - I drew the line!) You won't regret it they make the best pets.
Ain't Nobody Here
I've never seen the names Huey, Dewey & Louis on the forum - have I?
Yorkshire Pudding
Ooh, you just gave me a brilliant idea. My son is Louis. If I get two more chickens, I could call them Huey and Dewey. My husband cannot possibly refuse this time He thinks two chickens are "enough".
AJuff
We have a beautiful Black Rock called Darcy Vader (better than Darth vader as my son wanted to call her). She is the biggest of all our hens and lays large brown eggs, sometimes speckled, nearly ever day.
