Guest Posted February 6, 2008 Share Posted February 6, 2008 well, I happened across an international food shop in Bold St today which was choc full of delicious goodies from all over the world- Matta's International Foods- they had some 00 flour and some semolina flour so bought a bag of each and some chick peas. I'm going back for a good old mooch another time. I can make the pasta now! Had a great today actually, had lovely coffee and cake in FACT, saw an adorable Yorkshire terrier that I fell in love with and wanted to take home but her mum wouldn't let me and saw something funny, some people carrying a multi coloured lamb banana! Scooby Posted February 7, 2008 Share Posted February 7, 2008 Really gutted. Ordered my 1/2 price pasta maker which was supposed to be delivered yesterday but didn't come. Rang Argos who said it didn't go on the van, could they deliver on Friday instead. No problem I said. Just got call from Argos. No pasta makers left at all in stock in any of the 10 (ish) stores near me. No more plans to get said stock back in. No other pasta maker they do to give me replacement. They're refunding my money. The shop near where I work had about 8 but they went in one lunchtime.
